Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight-end who was a part of the National Football League for 17 seasons. One of the NFL's most successful tight ends and the third most effective overall receiver, he's been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of receiving yards, receptions made, etc.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF for the past year, is the show's host. The show airs on Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET prior to FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15, 2013 for a contract that was worth 14 million dollars over two years. This was in spite of his claims that he was retiring at the end of the season. Randy Moss retired in 2013 in 2013, and Gonzalez aged 37 at the time, spent the last year of his professional career as the NFL leader for receiving yards.
